Summary of Assignments: Following OCS, I stayed at Benning and taught tactical nuclear weapons operations to OCS and foreign officer classes. Then I went to Jungle School in Panama and on to Vietnam following that, assigned to the 25th Infantry Division in CuChi. I was a platoon leader. I extended for 6 months awaiting law school in Wisconsin. Following my tour, I spent 3 years in law school at the U. of Wisconsin. Then for 28 years, I was an attorney, mainly in financial litigation in Chicago and Los Angeles. I retired a while ago, and now I am the chief cook and bottle washer for my wife and 16 year old son. To this day, the months in Infantry OCS are some of the most vivid and often humorous memories I have. It surely was a unique experience.
