Summary of Assignments: Following OCS, I stayed on at Ft. Benning as a TAC Officer.  After that I went to Vietnam and was assigned to the 1st Cav. Division. Following my tour, I ran the garrison at Ft. Sheridan, Illinois. I then did a second tour in Vietnam, also with the 1st. Cav. Division. I left the Army after 10 years and took a civil service position for 20 years before retiring. My wife Josephine (of 35 years) passed away 3 years ago of breast cancer. My son Sean lives in Boise and my daughter, Meagan, lives in Portland. I just had a knee replaced, but other than that, I am in good health.
